The Halls of Aurora
Countless times I've sprinted to make the 8:20 bell
Red-faced underclassmen who lost their step and fell.
Friendly smiles and greetings all along this hall
Annoying slow walkers, bringing it to a stall.
PDA of couples that no one wants to see.
for 5 minutes after class, it's the place to be.
Wandering slacking students with classtime to misuse.
Bathroom, drink, locker, privelages to abuse.
Choas, laughs, and memories are always in our heart.
These halls are where our high school ends and also where we start.

ReplyDeleteThis is really good Kaci! How many times I have seen you running down the halls! Good Job:)
ReplyDeleteHey Kaci,
ReplyDeleteI actually wanted to post more comments than "nice job," but the poem was a nice job on your part, writing around the school in the writing marathon. I think you may miss these halls next year!!
